Terms & Conditions – Trust My Stay

Effective Date: 30 October 2025

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Trust My Stay, including lodge owners submitting information and visitors browsing the platform. By using this site, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To submit a lodge for verification, you must be the legal property owner or have written authority to manage or represent the property.

3. Listing & Verification

  • Lodge owners submit information through our online form.
  • Trust My Stay verifies information in good faith based on the details and documents provided, as well as available public or third-party sources.
  • Verification does not guarantee authenticity or ongoing accuracy.
  • Listings are only published once payment is received (R99/month).

4. Payment & Billing

  • Payment must be received before verification begins.
  • R200/month is required to maintain an active, verified listing.
  • We reserve the right to remove listings if payment lapses or if verification cannot be maintained.

5. Owner Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information and proof of ownership.
  • Consent to verification checks, including contact with security companies, online searches, or reference calls.
  • Immediately notify us of any changes to ownership or property details.

6. Limitation of Liability

Trust My Stay acts only as an information and verification platform. We do not own, manage, or operate any of the listed properties.
Trust My Stay is not liable for:

  • Inaccuracies in information submitted by lodge owners.
  • Losses, damages, or disputes between guests and lodge owners.
  • Any financial losses or scams arising from reliance on verified listings.

Verification badges indicate only that reasonable steps were taken to confirm the information provided at the time of verification. Users should always perform their own due diligence before booking.

7. Scam Reports, Public Information & User-Submitted Data

The platform displays scam reports, names, phone numbers, and other information sourced from public Facebook posts, public forums, user submissions, and publicly available data.
We do not investigate, verify, or confirm the accuracy of this information.

All scam-related labels (including “scammer”, “suspected scammer”, or “unverified”) reflect the wording found in public sources and do not represent a final or proven status.
Some information may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

If you believe your name, number, or property appears incorrectly, you may request correction or removal by emailing admin@fluxwebstudios.co.za.

8. Right to Remove or Edit Content

We may remove, update, or edit any scam report, listing, or public data at our discretion, including for accuracy concerns, correction requests, or legal reasons.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, including text, graphics, and badges, is owned by Trust My Stay and may not be copied or distributed without permission.

10. Termination

We may suspend or remove any listing at our discretion, including for non-payment, false information, or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
